Cards, Crafts, and Scrapbooking

It’s spring in the Southern Hemisphere, and that means it’s time for taking photos of the kids in daffodils, open up the house for some spring cleaning, and also time to work on making some cards, crafts, and scrapbooking.

Just recently I signed up as a Close To My Heart (CTMH) consultant, and am really enjoying getting back into crafts.  In particular I’ve been making quite a few cards, and also working on the growing inventory of family photos which should be made into scrapbooks.

It turns out that card making doesn’t have to be a huge, time-consuming endeavour … but can be done quite quickly. Of course it helps to have a variety of paper, stamps, and accessories on hand.

If you don’t have lots of exotic paper available, you can still make cute cards by the use of stamps and ink (the photo above uses CTMH Washi Tape stamps and three ink pads).

Mom’s Recommendation:
Take a little time to craft with your family – it’s fun.
